Paleo Jaffa Rum Balls

Makes 20 balls

1 cup almond or hazelnut meal

30 mL dark rum

6 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

3 Tbsp cocao powder

2 Tbsp maple syrup

1/2 cup sultanas

zest of 2 oranges

extra cacao powder + desiccated coconut to coat

 

Place all ingredients in a food processor, blitz until a thick, doughy mixture forms.  It should stick together as it comes off the sides.

Roll into small balls using your fingers.  Dust the finished balls with desiccated coconut + extra cacao powder.  Store in the fridge.
